Accessibility
This site should work for everyone. Here is where we stand — and how to tell us when it doesn’t.

Our commitment
Everglades Bookkeeping is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who browse with screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or other assistive technology. We treat accessibility as part of doing the job properly, not as an afterthought.
Standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML structure with a single main landmark and a logical heading order on every page
- A “Skip to content” link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation
- Full keyboard operability, including the mobile menu, with visible focus styles
- Text and interface colors chosen for contrast against their backgrounds
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and empty alt text on decorative ones
- Labelled form fields on the contact form, with error and helper text tied to the field it describes
- Responsive layout and relative text sizing, so the site works when zoomed or viewed on a small screen
Known limitations
Some areas may still fall short. Embedded content from third parties — such as review widgets or scheduling tools — is outside our direct control, and we work with those providers where we can. If you find something on this site that is hard to use, we want to hear about it.
Tell us about a problem
If you run into a barrier on this site, email [email protected] or call or text (352) 250-8392. Please tell us the page and what happened. We aim to respond within three business days and to fix confirmed issues promptly.
Alternative ways to work with us
You never have to use this website to become a client. Everything on it — the free bookkeeping review, questions about services, sending documents — can be handled by phone, text, email, or video call, whichever works best for you.
